- penetration (Germany, for instance) the proprietary ZyXEL schemes are
- still as alive and kicking as, say, V.32bis. There are many BBS
- operators who would have liked to switch from their old ZyXELs to USR et
- al. V.34 modems but were forced to wait for the ZyXEL 2864 series
- because of user demand for continued support of ZyX16.8/19.2.
